Volunteering for the Seattle Century is a great way to support Bike Works
and to have a fun time. This ride is what it is in part because of
volunteers like you.
150 volunteers are needed
throughout the course for a wide variety of positions. Your support
ensures a successful and safe ride and helps raise awareness and
funds for the Bike Works.

Volunteering for the Seattle Century is just plain fun. But, as an extra added bonus, all volunteers will receive:
- A free Seattle Century
t-shirt
- A ticket into the Finish Line Party
with
salmon, salad, bread, dessert and drinks
- A beer to wash it all down (must be over 21
to enjoy this perk)
- Most positions allow you to ride part or all of the ride
for free
- Some volunteer
positions allow you to give a free ride as a gift to a
friend
Check out the position descriptions below to
see which ones allow you to ride free. If it says Y, part that means
you can ride a portion of the course. You'll be generally riding
from your position to the finish line. Depending on your position,
you may or may not pass open rest stops, but you are welcome to join
us at the finish line party which goes until 6:00 pm.
Click on a position for further detail, and just e-mail us if you have further
questions.
